What you do you love most about CFV?
The people. That's what keeps me here and committed

What's your favorite/least Favorite CF movement?
Abosolute favorite would have to be prescribed rest between sets... or kettlebell swings.
Least favorite is wall balls.

Advice for someone new to CF?
Don't feel like its something you cannot do! Every movement is scalable to your level. Regardless of your ability, you will get a bonafide workout.

What is something you want to accomplish this year?
Same as every year... stay healthy.

Jo Milos is a memeber of many skills.  She does the graphic design for our CFV-apparel, website and brochures.. She also helps to keep the gym clean and organized for everyone!  If something breaks Jo can normally fix it!  You will see her around the box always helping others with that contagious smile.



James and Faith Gardner

Faith: Pediatrician  James: Educator and Urban Farmer

How long have you been a member?
Faith: 10 months   James: 6 weeks

What is your favorite/least favorite CF movement?
 Faith: kipping anything   James: back squat least fav burpees

Advise for someone new to CF?
Faith: Show up consistently. Be willing to learn. Be patient. Don't look at the scale
James: I am new but everyone says keep showing up. Make the most out of every rep.


Faith is also the mother of 5 and is full of energy!  You will see their family at events cheering eveyrone on with lots of love and enthusiam!  James is not only caring and inspiring at the box but he carries this attitude in all aspects of his life. As an educator and Director of a community garden located in a food desert, James attracts community members and leaders from all walks of life to join him and his family on the mission to feed Greensboro, educate the community and launch a new generation of farmers.

What you do you love most about CFV?
Working out in a group and meeting new people

How has CF made your life easier or better?
I have more energy in my everyday life.  It keeps me mobile and flexible which I relaixe when I miss a week or more!

Advice for someone new to CF?
Be paient and consistent.  The movements will come and you will progress.

What is something you want to accomplish this year?
Attend CF on a more regular basis, which I have already started.

June has been married for 38 years and has 4 children. She is accomplishing her goals and she is a consistant face at the gym. She is alwasy up for a workout challenge and has a smile on her face.  She is full of energy and makes her workouts look easy!
